elevateMS
elevateMS is a retrospective observational study using smart-phones to study symptoms of multiple sclerosis.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a neurodegenerative and progressive autoimmune disease that can bring on symptoms and relapse unexpectedly. For patients, some days are easy, while on other days MS symptoms make-up their daily story. elevateMS is an app-based study designed to characterize changes in participant-reported outcomes and functional performance tests collected on the elevateMS mobile app from participants with and without MS, in relation to disease severity and relapse. The population is comprised of two categories: an All-comers population who may or may not have MS and a Neurologist-referred population with confirmed MS diagnosis.
elevateMS was run by Sage Bionetworks in collaboration with Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation. For more information, visit the elevateMS website.
