The Covid Recovery Corps
A study to understand how people recover from COVID-19, and how the disease impacts communities over time.
The Covid Recovery Corps is a partnership between Sage Bionetworks and Columbia University to understand how people recover from COVID-19 and the impacts of the disease on health, and communities over long periods of time. As part of the study, Sage developed a web application that included an eConsent system to ensure informed consent and the ability to share medical records with the study team, and a survey engine to capture patient recorded outcomes relevant to better understanding Post-acute sequelae from COVID-19
Minority communities have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19. The study team isĀ committed to engaging a diverse and representative group of participants so that the research can help those most impacted by this disease, focusing on recruitment in neighborhoods of Manhattan surrounding Columbia University. This is one of the most ethnically diverse areas on the planet.
