Model AD Explorer
The Model AD Explorer is an interactive, web-based platform designed to help researchers discover, compare, and analyze next-generation mouse models of Alzheimer’s Disease. Built using data from the MODEL-AD Consortium, the tool allows users to visualize detailed phenotypic characterizations of mouse models, including biomarkers, pathology, and differential expression data. With transparent data provenance, access to raw datasets, and human disease correlation data, the Explorer makes it easier for researchers to identify a mouse model aligned with their research goals.

The Explorer was developed to leverage data from in vivo Alzheimer’s disease models as part of an intentional research ecosystem of sharing. Data is generated by centers within the MODEL-AD (Model Organism Development & Evaluation for Late-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease) consortium and is featured in the AD Knowledge Portal.
